| The blue lagoon is a geothermal area near Reykjavik. The water in the blue lagoon is heathed where sea water meats fresh water and enters in contact with hot lava.
A spa (not shown on the pictures) has been installed on the Blue lagoon to allow people to enjoy swimming in these waters. Pictures taken near Reykjavik, Iceland on September 29th 2006. |
