Ouchijuku

Pictures taken at dusk in Ochijuku, Fukushima prefecture, Japan, on 7 VIII 2004.
Ouchijuku was an important relay on the way to the capital, Edo (Tokyo), during the Edo period in Japan. Now it is a small hamlet with nice thatched roof houses.
