Traditionnal Japanese Storehouses in Tochigi prefecture

Traditionnal Japanese Storehouses seen along road 4 in Tochigi prefecture, Japan.
Pictures taken on 8 VIII 2004.
In the traditionnal japanese house only very few items decorate the living area. The other items were stored in a safe storehouse. Those were made of stones to protect them of against fire (unlike the main house built in wood to allow a good ventilation).
