In a sushi bar all the sushi are on a conveyor belt and the customer can choose the one they want. At the end of the meal the waiter comes and counts the number of sushi plates on the table to know the number of sushi eaten and thus the price to be paid. In some restaurant all sushi are the same price (100 yen) and in some others different prices correspond to different colors of plates (ranging easily from 90 yen to more than 500 yen per plate). |
