La plata (silver in spanish) is the name of a mountain in Colorado which is 14361 feet (4377m) high. During a stay in Snowmass, we climbed La Plata mountain in a few hours and then went back, partly under the rain: We left the car at 5:30, were at the summit by 10:30 and were back at the car by 13:30.
