| Ashcroft Ghost Town was a mining camp established in 1880 following the discovery of Silver in the area in 1879. The city was bypassed by rail-road in 1887 and become a ghost town before 1900. The ruins of the city are near Aspen in Colorado, USA. and some buildings have been restored recently. Pictures taken on 27 August 2005. |
